Purchased this product to make vanilla extract for Christmas presents. Loved everything about it, except I was short 2 beans (had 48 in total). Normally, this wouldn't bother me, but I was being precise with putting 5 beans per 8 oz bottle of alcohol, so 10 bottles total. As I was short 2 beans, 2 bottles only have 4 beans instead of 5. Again, not the end of the world, but something to keep in mind. That's why I gave this review 4 stars. If I'm paying almost $50 for 50 beans, I want my 50 beans! lol.

These smell wonderful. I was kinda expecting a little bigger beans but upon reading it again it has an approximate size and that's exawhat I got. These are in a vacuum sealed package to retain freshness. If you are looking to get some vanilla beans. These are very good for cooking with and making vanilla extract
