It's useful for having to charge more than one item. I think it could use multiple sizes of dividers. Holds IPhone well, but iPad is a bit larger though it does hold it. My one drawback is the ports are on the opposite side of where we sit so that makes it somewhat awkward , but I didn't pay attention before purchasing. It is convenient and doesn't take a huge amount of space.
