I'm probably not the one to tell how easy it was or wasn't to use, because my husband did all the chicken infrastructure, but I'm extremely happy with this on my run & he used it to line the walls of our insulated temporary coop while building the bigger coop. My 5 bigger girls are secure and happy in their run & coop. (I did observe, he put the roll on a pole/pipe over some notched saw horses, so he was able to unroll it onto the run [up over the roof & down the other side,] like a bolt of fabric & then secure it down on the far side so he could pull it tight as he attached it to the frame).
