My last espresso maker that I loved I had to get rid of, so I decided to try this one. Have been using it for a while. I like it but don't love it. I do like how easy it is to clean and take apart. I also like how quickly it cools down to allow me to break it down to clean right away. It took a while to figure out how much coffee to use and it doesn't taste as great as my last espresso maker. It does leave grinds in my coffee which is quite annoying. I might have to keep searching, but it gets the job done.
Great espresso maker!

I needed a bigger espresso maker, this makes 10 small cups! Good for a bigger gathering. If you like traditionally brewed espresso, this is a great option. Reminds me of having espresso in Italy.
Very Nice

Have used the aluminum ones before and they always dribbled when pouring. This is way better , also cleaner and much prettier. I have no complaints. The wide base fits the stove better and the elegant shape is pleasant. Thumbs Up.
Husband is in love

I bought for my husband and he is in love with it. The coffee maker we used always leaves a "residue" on the bottom of your cup that it's not very pleasant when you reach it. He likes the taste of the coffee that comes out of this one more (even thought we use the same brand coffee).
We have an electric stove and after daily use (most days more than once), I don't notice a discoloration or anything on the bottom part

Makes fantastic coffee, but you have to work a little harder...

The London Sip Expresso Maker will make one of the best cups of coffee you have ever had, but it's not as easy to use as the ubiquitous octagonal aluminum versions from other well-know companies. In my experience the common aluminum moka pots are not very sensitive to the heat level or a high level of water in the lower chamber. They will still make a decent cup of coffee. The London Sip pot however, requires the user to much more carefully monitor the heat and fluid levels. If you turn the stove up too high, it will blow a lot of water through the pressure release valve and it will also leak all over your stove from the junction between the upper and lower chambers. It will also make a mess if the water in the lower chamber is just a little over the release valve, or if the coffee basket is too full. Additionally, it's a little harder to clean because of the deep and tapered shape of the chambers. But if you are careful about keeping the water level correct, and patient enough to make your coffee with moderate heat (below half), it will make a cup of coffee that will rival anything at your favorite coffee shop.
