My hand guns fit well. Easily holds an extra clip or two. The lock works well. Not sure about in the dark though. No batteries is a plus. The cable is thin but should work for the most part unless the burglar has bolt cutters. It's nice to have an affordable box secured under your bed that is easy to use Incase you need it.

I purchased my first pistol lock box at Academy Sport store for my .45 Glock and months later I purchased a 10mm only to find out that Academy locally stopped selling it and only offered key entry lock boxes. Took some digging to find this through the numerous 3-digit combination and digital ones. Not a fan of the digital ones especially after buddy's gun safe battery died and he misplaced the key. Took us an hour to get into it with many electric tools lol.
