This took a little bit of walking to find a good center point and radius, but it works better than expected. We have an oblong property with a long front yard parallel to a busy road. I was concerned the (large teen age) dog would be confused by having the collar signal at the (invisible) fence line and having it not allow him to walk the fence line. But he seems to naturally understand that his territory is a circle around the house, so it's working fine. Only need to use the collar occasionally when he's hanging out with resident deer and starting to follow them.

I have a 6 month old lab with lots of energy with a very large yard 10 acres. The fence did exactly what we needed to allow the dog roam and be curious without us worrying about trying to keep an eye on him all the time. Setup up took a little getting used to but the manual explains well.

I really liked that you don't have to have any wires or a separate service. Charge it up, activate it, set it to the desired distance and you are ready to go. Easy to reset the perimeter if you go to new places. Was impressed worked well on full grown pitbull.
