My son loves lava lamps, but lava lamps are too dangerous for a child to play with. I love how the sensory tubes are similar to a lava lamp, but much safer. The tube is made out of plastic so I do not worry about him getting hurt. It's fun to see the two colors mix because it shows him how two colors can make a third color. I also like to play with the sensory tubes. They are fun to watch. I would recommend these!

These tubes keep my daughter entertained forEVER. She loves them and carries them around with her around the house. I attached some lanyard so that she could carry them with her when we go out and about, that way she won't have to worry about losing it.
