My dad has gotten into using his bread machine so I bought this for Christmas. He uses it all of the time. It folds down, cleans and functions with ease. Totally worth it and would highly recommend for any bread makers.

Works very well! Nice even slices of my home made loaves! A previous reviewer mentions that the included knife is a little short, it does just work. Luckily, I have a long serrated knife that works better.

I'm still on the fence with this one! It does scratch very easily, so you have to be careful when your knife gets to the bottom. You have to be careful as the knife goes down to make sure you're not cutting the guides as well. I'm going to get a cheap cheap light weight cutting board or mat and cut it down to fit the bottom to keep from scratching it up. It will have to cut three different sizes depending on what width I end up using. I'm thinking that should work great, we will find out soon. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is not high enough for some of the bread I make in the bread machine, so you are guessing and hoping that you start the cut in the right place. Well, you usually are not! My cuts on my tall loaf came out very very uneven. Still trying different ways of cutting the tall ones. I wish the guides were a little tighter in the groves they set in, would make it a little easier to hold the bread and not move back and forth to much. I like the sturdiness for the most part. I like how it comes apart and stores in the tray, fits right on top of my bread machine for storage. Nice looking, but still trying to like it.

I have a 1 lb bread machine which makes a loaf 5 1/2 inch cube basically. It fits well. And the graduated slice guides allow me to slice thinner slices of heavier bread and thicker slices of light (white) bread. Nice for cutting quick breads too. The only change I would want is a place to hold the "backboard" when folded flat. For now a large rubber band keeps it all together during storage.
