After reading the reviews I was on the fence about this hem. It is a tad larger than I had imagined, and there are no instructions on how to mount the device to your scope. Those are the only 2 negatives. I figured out how to mount in in 2 minutes. The picture quality is great and the thermal is pretty good and easy to figure out. It is easy to operate and providing it lasts I highly recommend this. It's a 300 dollar mod to give you thermal. What more could you ask for. It isn't 4000 dollar quality because its 300 bucks. If you want 4000 dollar quality, spend the money. If you want a 300 dollar mod to pop off some gofers,coyotes, or whatever, this is it.

This is one of the few night visions that you can find that is only one times magnification. Most other night visions are usually four times magnification at the lowest meaning that you don't get the actual view of what you're viewing. Because it would be too soon then at all times. This one would be perfect except for the fact that it is a way too large. Looking at the photo you would think that this is more of a small handheld. It is handheld but it is very heavy and very large. This is not something you can easily carry around your neck for a long period of time. The infrared the shoot very far and it is very clear. But again the size made it too large for me to carry. I had to return it specifically for that reason. However the other functions of the night vision and the infrared are fantastic. For the price and the magnification you cannot beat that
