I have found some Chinese dim sum recipes require steaming, the stainless steel one I had worked fine, but this set worked way better. With the adapter it can fit on top of most of pots and the bamboo cover for the steaming basket will let the steam go through, so it won't drip back onto my food. The silicone liner is reusable and easy to clean. It is a very good value, adding together the adapter, the steaming basket and the silicone liner, if buying separately, it would cost a lot more.

I had a bamboo steamer years ago but lost it. I've used a smaller metal steamer but it doesn't hold very much and fits only on small pots. This Bamboo steamer set fits on many different sizes of pot due to the metal ring it sits on. The baskets are a very nice size and I can steam a bunch of vegetables at the same time. I love it!

I love this steamer. As vegetarians, we eat a lot of veggies and the double tier is helpful.in preparing a meal in a hurry. The inserts keep filled dumplings from sticking and the ring provides a nice seal between my pans and the bamboo. I think every kitchen should have a bamboo steamer and I strongly recommend this one.
