Love that it works, after trying to get it installed. Went through videos and why it didn't sync on the first thru 50th try, I don't know. But it did finally sync after much frustration and numerous swear words! I would suggest 2 people to sync it, supposedly it has to be up by the garage door opener.

Moved into a condo that never had an external keypad opener for the circa 2004 Wayne-Dalton Classic drive 3018. Sometimes they're just so convenient! But the brand name keypad was twice this price, beyond reason to me. This unit has good reviews, now I see why.
Quick, easy installation. Detailed instruction sheet covers numerous manufacturers. Over the years I've paired/programmed clickers for the car and exterior keypads at other homes - this was the best instruction sheet I've seen. Gives detailed procedure plus complete steps with tips for several of the most common brands. Set up on 1st try, no hassle!
Works for old-school DIP switch openers as well as the various "Learn button" types (which my Wayne-Dalton calls "Program button").
Haven't used the temporary code program yet - lets you put in a temp code and a number of openings for that code to work before it resets back to your original code. Might come in handy if I plan to give access to someone while I'm away.

The instructions were just a bit unclear to me at times and although I followed the directions, it didn't respond like the printed instruction indicated. So I didn't think it was going to sync with my garage door motor - but after a couple of tries, it started working so I'm happy with it. It came with mounting screws and a battery. It's a buff color and looks nice on the outside of my garage.

Works perfectly and programed easily for both my garage doors. One has an older lift master with purple learn button and the other one is a brand new lift master with yellow learn button. Easy to program. Open the battery cover on the remote. Press the black program button until the light on the remote comes on. Chose which clicker you want to program. Then click that clicker 'x' many times as instructed on the accompanying table (for example for purple learn button you need to click it 3 times and for yellow you need to click it 7 times). Then press the black program button to turn off the light on the remote. The remote is then ready for your opener to program. The garage door has to be in closed position. Then press the learn button on the garage door opener motor. Then click the clicker button that you have chosen on the remote for 2 seconds until the opener responds by blinking its light. You are now all set. It works perfectly. Very easy to do.
