Great buttons making it much easier to change alarm time, etc than many other alarm clocks

The buttons and usage does make a difference. easy to use, large labelled buttons on the front and side vs. tiny buttons on the back like for many other alarm clocks.
Also plus and minus buttons on this alarm clock -> they save so much time vs. "hours" and "minutes" buttons that only move the numbers forward.
To turn on/off alarm #1 on, it's a pretty large switch on the left side. For alarm #2, it's on the right side.
To set the alarm, long press the alarm button on the front. This goes with each press between alarm 1 hour, minutes alarm 2 hour, minutes. Best would have been one button to set alarm one and one for alarm 2, but that would take space on a clock that is travel-size.
Changing alarm #1 say from 7:15 AM to 6:45 AM, it's long press on the alarm button, then one down arrow, then press, then up arrow (long press), then either do nothing and wait a few seconds, or press alarm 2 more times for alarm 2 and you are done.
The same with many alarm clocks would be similar, but changing the time would mean press is 23 times or do a long press and hope when you release the hours button you have not been over the number 6 (for hours), else you have to start it again.
Now for the atomic clock, on the right side/floor of the house it works from near Seattle with some difficult terrain. Basically at night is when the signal is strong enough to be received. But worst case you just set the time manually.

It functions as advertised. I would prefer a calender that has month first day second though like used commonly here in America.
Great compact design.

A good bedside companion

Due to its size, it's definitely not a good travel clock but it makes a good bedside companion that sets it own time and date - basically idiot proofing the process. The nighttime glow from the Auto Light allows one to read the clock in low light without a blindingly bright display. Altogether, I really like this clock and I am pleased to have purchased it.
Absolutely love all of the features on this clock, very reasonably priced

If you're looking for a clock that is solely battery powered, then this is the one for you. I'm old school, I wanted an alarm clock that will not fail me even if there's a power blink or whatever during the time you're needing to sleep, so that's why I have always had an exclusively battery powered alarm clock. If you want to wake up to music, then this is not for you. It is super easy to set, just follow the simple instructions and let the atomic feature set the time for you. My clock took less than a minute to set the date/time all on its own. The only thing I had to adjust was the time zone, which was very easy to do also. You can set up to two alarms, and it has a soft backlight feature that can be easily turned on or off if you so desire. Overall, super pleased with my purchase so far. Time will tell how long this thing lasts, as I've only had it for about a week so far. But it appears to be well made and of good materials. I'd rate it at 6 stars if I could, I'm that pleased with it. Hope this helps you with your buying decision.
Easy to program and it's small and stable

The clock is easy to read but isn't too big. The dial illumination at night is not too bright when I press it to see the time.
