Awesome sculpt, good quality, perfect army men size, 8 different men, kid loves them. The sculpt on these reminds me of starship troopers. Fun to paint some gray some tan and a sharpy. Very cool!

I'm glad I found these for my son. I use to play with the old green ones back in the day. These are very durable and colorful. It also comes with air support and anti-air units. Pretty cool, and a modern look. Instead of WW 2 gear. With the money, hope more are made of this line.

This is a classic phenomenal set of quasi sci-fi miniatures. Future space soldiers,aka starship troopers, imperial guard etc. Just all around great sculpts and figures. They take primer really well (no excessive stickiness that you get with some plasric figures) and that makes them really easy to repaint or just to practice your painting skills and color scheme. I have 2 sets of these and use them for various skirmish level wargames. They're also good for conversions by adding plastic dinosaur or insect heads to make a truly unique warbands

My boys (aged 4, 6 and 9) have multiple 'army men' sets - buckets of knights, soldiers, firemen, whatever. This became their favorite set the moment they got it. They liked that there are three colors of troops, and that each color actually has some different stuff (red has a big robot that the other colors don't have, for example). They also like all the fortification bits and that there are wall guns that you can add or remove to the fort pieces. My oldest dubbed this the 'scifi army men bucket' because they have a more near-future feel than standard ww2 army men. Quality and quantity are great and the price ($14 at the time of this review) is great for what you get. As an adult with too many kid toys all over the floor all the time, I like that the bucket is sturdy and reusable compared to the flimsy containers most toy army men come in these days, so they clean up quickly.
