I work from home and I also cook using fresh produce. Throwing away the unused parts of produce was drawing gnats like crazy. Working from home, my desk is near the kitchen and the trash can is against the wall near the room I work in. The gnats would fly in my face and around my computer screens because of the light. It made it extremely hard to concentrate and work. It was so bad that I almost felt like I had an infestation. It was driving me crazy. I ordered these sticky traps and placed them around the trash can and I made some cups of vinegar, sugar, dish soap mixtures and placed them around the house with sticky traps attached to them and after about an hour the traps were filled with gnats. I replaced them all before I went to bed and in the morning there were gnats on them but less than before. Sat at my desk and began working and not a gnat in sight. I may need to get a monthly subscription on these traps because they are tried and true. 20/10 would recommend!!!
***NOTE: The flower shaped traps seem to catch more gnats than the butterfly shaped traps.

I have had a major issue with fungus gnats because of my new plants. With these super sticky traps, the flies aren't going anywhere. I wish they looked a little more inconspicuous since they are quite large but honestly it's worth it to not have flies all over the place. I didn't notice any smell with them and they are super simple to use (just peel off both stickers on both sides and stick into the soil). Overall the quality is great and I will definitely repurchase at some point.
We Tried Everything. These finally worked!

Like it says in the title, we literally tried every trick in the book to get a handle on this fruit fly infestation running rampant in our kitchen. Because of that, I didn't have too much hope for these. Totally wrong on that one. They've cut down the infestation dramatically. No more hoards floating around as we amble about the kitchen. Use the right bait (we used coffee with a sugary creamer but apple cider vinegar works well too) and you will definitely see the little demons land and get stuck with no way of escaping. You can stick it to wide brimmed glasses with a sturdy tape or just insert the bottom piece into a jug or bottle. It shows in the pictures. We caught several. Probably around 50 in ONE day. Totally recommend. And for the cheap price with so many included? Worth every penny.
These are how I finally conquered my fruit fly invasion!

Really. I don't know how it even started, but I'm guessing a few small herbal plants in my kitchen window sill may have been to blame for it. One day I suddenly saw a couple little fruit flies zipping around my kitchen. I didnt really think too much about it. About a week later there was a whole bunch of the little pests! I mean a serious boat-load!! Those little guys really multiply fast! Ugh and yuk!
So. I got out the apple cider vinegar and poured some in a few small bowls, garnished with some drops of liquid dish soap. That only accomplished drowning a small percentage of them. So, then I tried some stuff made for the drain, and sprayed things down with rubbing alcohol and some other stuff that made the floor slippery. And all that stuff helped only minimally.
So, I saw these on Amazon and figured it was worth a try. These don't have chemicals. Their really just sticky things like fly paper, only on plastic small sized shapes. You can peel the protective covering off of both sides or just one side if you want to lay one side down on a surface without getting it stuck there. They have pointed ends made to easily insert them into potted plants. The package came with a whole bunch of these, I think 80. I put them all over the kitchen, being creative with strategic places. And even taped some to cabinet corners, etc.
Day one... I couldn't believe how many of these little buggers got stuck onto these traps!! Wow these worked great. So. I left them out for a few days. By day 4 I didn't see any new fruit flies buzzing around at all!! None buzzing around. Just dead ones stuck on the yellow traps.
I tossed out the used traps and I still have about 50 left if the problem comes back. And to be on the safe side, I have 1 in each potted plant.
I am very pleased with the results. They worked for me and I highly recommend using them!

They do the job

They work fine but the weird shapes make it difficult to peel off the backing bc it keeps ripping. Honestly these would be better with a simple round, easy to peel shape. They catch bugs. No one cares what they are shaped like lol.
