My previous ice machine from another brand broke after constant use for 6-7 years straight and needed a new one. I decided to try something different. I chose a smaller one on purpose but there are a few features I wish were different. The scoop it comes with is the ABSOLUTE wrong shape for the basket inside so I had to use a different scoop. The basket itself is shaped a little weird to accommodate for the smaller size machine but the shape makes it difficult to scoop ice out and I end up dripping water everywhere to pull the basket out to dump the ice. Not the worst but you do what you need to. My biggest issue is if you are not careful and the basket gets jostled just the right way you can come back later to get some ice and see that the basket was just a smidge in front of the sensor and the machine thought it was full and didn't product any ice. Though not the end of the world it is a little annoying. It does what I need it to... makes ice and is small enough to fit my small kitchen.

I bought this machine so I could stop buying ice. Follow the directions in the manual & you won't get that bad ice taste. The picture full of ice is after 1 hour on the large cube setting. The picture with less ice is 9 large cubes made in 7 minutes. Be sure to put the basket of ice in a bag & into the freezer asap as the machine won't keep the ice cold. I didn't want to pay more for that feature. For the price & how I plan to use the machine it's good. I gave it 4 stars because I want to see how well this machine keeps up over time. I may change it to 5 stars later. Eventually the machine will probably need a refill of whatever cooling agent it uses & depending on how service is at that point is why I'm reserving making a 5 star review today. I've only started using this machine yesterday.

love everything about this. Its quieter than my old one. we got a kick out of the humor in the directions about NOT using coke products/ sad that someone made this a rule in an ice machine...

This is a GREAT product for people like me that don't have a built-in ice maker ðŸ'Œ it's small but mighty 🤜🤛 Upon arrival, the ice maker was very well packaged. I immediately read the instructions and started the cleaning process using the self-cleaning mode; it was FANTASTIC! I then made my first batch of ice. I used room temp water and received the results that most people stated that the 1st couple of chips were smaller. After using several times, I started using COLD water from my Britta pitcher that I store in my fridge and noticed a significant difference of the size of the ice. When using the cold filtered water, the ice is always the same size and no small chips were created. So, I recommend using cold filtered water. I also LOVE the drain feature but a few times when draining, the rubber plug part stayed in the hole and I had to use a chop stick to push out. That's not a big deal but it's something to be aware of.
I'm very PLEASED with this ice maker and highly recommended. I purchased during Prime Days and bought at a discount. I did not receive compensation for this review. I often read reviews in hope of honesty as I'm frugal and don't want to waste my money. By doing honest reviews, I feel like that's my way of paying it forward.

When I got this, I figured if it was trash, I'd send it back. To my surprise, this little bugger is the engine that could! It makes ice like a champ....in 7 minutes per batch. The ice comes out pretty wet so if you stick it in the freezer, it will form a big lump if you don't break it up twice in 10 minute intervals. The only negative I have with this ice maker is that it is a noisy bugger. I put it in a bathroom and close the door so it doesn't grate on my nerves. Other than that, this thing is awesome.
