I was looking for a portable heater I could plug in for a smaller pool or jacuzzi. This is definitely not portable and needs to be installed by someone who knows electric. It is a repair part. Which I have no idea how to use. But it does seem very sturdy and well made. It comes with a lot of bits and Bob's so I am fairly certain it includes everything you would need for self-installation.

The media could not be loaded. installed this with a 240 plug yes I am aware that hot tubs should be 104 degrees max but with a 330 gallon tank the water needs to be hotter than the water in the tub to keep it up to temp

This is a good basic water heater. It comes with everything to install it. The installation is straight forward and easy. The wiring if a little different but comes with instructions to explain how to hook it up properly. The temperature control is located in a good spot for access. It will heat water efficiently.

Very easy to install if you have the right parts. Just a note, not all pool pumps have a standard fitting and therefore this could be complicated to install. It's not this heater, but the pumps. I did finally get this installed with my pump and it works very well. Great value, heated fast and extended the life of my pool use
