even though I was really looking for something that would prop up or switch literally the angle of the cables, so that you could push furniture to a wall without worrying about wires bending excessively and breaking, this was not it at all. Still, I was so satisfied that I do not want to return it, so I left it on a common area of the house which is the living room where many people normally ask for things to charge devices. This makes you forget about three charging bricks thanks to its built in usb ports, though if you really want extremely fast charging (more than 15 W or 5 volts, 3 Amps, say, same 5 volts but 12 amps that some chargers now provide) then you can have that charger brick plugged on the 6 regular outlets that are available which is actually quite a bit for such a portable strip that really packs a punch. I propped up vertically by rotating the plug so that the plus and all go up towards the ceiling instead of them being horizontal and it stays in place. I can understand if you plug in very heavy stuff how it would tend to turn but I think it is just sturdy enough, no problems here so far. It tends to warm up when you use USB devices, but not something really scary or dangerous. Not bad for 15 bucks at all.

I have a bathroom fixture that has the light toggle switch on one side and the 2-outlet switch on the other side. I found most outlet extenders got in the way of the light switch so were not very effective. This extender works perfectly. It plugs into one of the outlets and doesn't get in the way of the other outlet or the light switch. I really like the fact that you can rotate the plug so you can hang it vertically or horizontally. I have it horizontally so I can plug in the power cords for my dogs' grooming equipment for recharging and still turn the light on and use the other outlet. I have now bought 2 more in black for other places.
