We have a rescue puppy who likes to eat rabbit poop amongst other things like rocks and sticks. This is soft and allows the pup to drink water still. It does not block airflow. He seems pretty content in it. Your first time will be a challenge so have lots of treats avail when introducing your pet to this. He tries to roll around in the grass to try and take it off. It stays on pretty good. He hasn't been able to take it off"¦ yet.

I really like the construction of the muzzle and it will definitely suit my needs. While the product is great, their customer service exceeded my expectations. They were truly kind and able to help me determine the correct size of muzzle for my dog. They responded quickly and their knowledge was wonderful. It was such a joy dealing with this seller.

Ordered a medium for my standard schnauzer fits great. She was grazing constantly in the yard and having blood in her stool. I put plain cheerios in the muzzle every time I put it on her, it works great.

My fur baby is rambunctious 55 pound chewing machine. She was eating off the ground and ingesting tiny rocks and bits of bark, and chewing at everyone's fingers like popcorn at a action movie. Not anymore.

I was depressed at the thought off tuning my affectionate very social companion into something that might scare people at the park. But, o though, I'd rather have a live, heathy animal to one that is popular but has constant digestion issues. And $17 for a muzzle is way cheaper than tests the vet.

To my surprise the opposite happened. Other dog parents totally understood my concerns. And the real shock was not only does my pet like wearing the accessory, it actually calmed her down and reduced her anxiety considerably.

My complaints about this particular muzzle are slim:

1. I wish or came in cool colors. Black is scary many and sends the wrong message. If there were colors id buy multiple ones.

2. The head strap is not adjustable. So if your dog's head is a bit undersized, you have this ill fitting loop on her forehead. No biggie.

This has been a Godsend!!! I'm a trucker and was finally able to bring my 2 y/o Husky/Australian Shepherd mix on the road with me. He had ALL of his shots plus extras because of all the nasty things he can pick up at the various truck stops and rest area. Well Mr. Badboy was in grass heaven and would either eat something nasty he got and in the grass or lick something disgusting I couldn't see but his nose would be buried in it!!!! He had 2 rounds off the runs and as a trucker, it is not easy at all trying to find somewhere to pull over every hour for him to use the bathroom. 3 times he didn't make it and my poor truck paid the price. Yes, I was horrified and upset. I had to feed him a bland diet to settle his stomach, then when he was back to normal, he did it again!!! I REFUSED to make this a habit. What's worse is he knew what he was doing was wrong because he would get to the spot he got addicted to, sniff really hard then look at me and lick the spot! This muzzle settled EVERYTHING! At first he absolutely hated it! He started panting really hard as if he were having a panic attack, then he gave me the sad eyes look, then the "how dare you" look, then he ignored me completely. Lol. I was in heaven! When I took him for a walk with it, he refused to use the bathroom because he couldn't "smell" anything. My dog is over-the-top dramatic. So I waited him out. Eventually he succumbed and used the bathroom. He tried to lick the grass and he couldn't. Yes! Not even a blade of grass can go through the openings. He has plenty of room to pant and now he looks forward to wearing it because he knows he is going for walks. Mind you, it's only been 1 day and he is used to it. Occasionally I do have to correct him from trying to take it off but I win and he leaves it alone and we continue to walk. I chose this one specifically because the holes a smaller so no objects can get through. BEST PRODUCT EVER!

5 day update- he is so used to the muzzle that now he actually doesn't object at all to wearing it. He is comfortable with it on and as you can see he is able to pant with it very comfortably. In no way did it impede his barking tendencies when coming across other dogs. Still a winner.
