Had problems getting it to read my finger print. Had to give it time in between before it finally took. The holes to mount to the wall are right behind the shelf. Have to cut off tabs for the self to mount the safe. Good size to fit all my folders and paperwork

The fingerprint sensor works surprisingly well, though with a bit of difficulty on worn out fingers of an 80-yo that I bought this for. She still can open the safe after a couple of attempts. No complains. The keypad and physical key backup are a good idea. No gaskets around the door so it can hardly be firesafe.
The instructions are trivial but they miss a mention of where exactly the programming buttons are (hidden inside near the hinge, not visible by glimpsing inside the safe).

Not a bad little safe....but, it is very front heavy. The body of the safe is solid but not very thick, the majority of the weight is in the door so when you open it and it isn't anchored into the wall it will cause the safe to fall forward.
The "leather" interior looks nice but the covering on the shelf wasn't glued very well and is coming away from the shelf as shown in the photos. The interior light works well and isn't very bright but bright enough to find objects inside in the dark. The shelf is removable, however it's a bit difficult to get out.
The finger print ID works surprisingly well once programmed. I honestly thought it was going to be just a gimmicky kind of thing and not a fully functional finger print scanner but once I programmed it, it works well with the finger I used to program it and ONLY that finger as it should. Both barrel lock keys and the lock work fine. The digital keypad is a bit difficult to get to turn on, it seems to work better when there is some kind of light shinning on it.
The biggest drawback to this safe is that it talks. Every time you put in your password or use the finger print ID a voice says "Please Open The Door" and there doesn't appear to be any way to turn it off. Nothing about the voice is mentioned in the owners manual at all and I didn't see anything about it in the description. I don't like the idea of people knowing every time I open my safe when they hear the voice. If you are using this for your home protection firearm storage you certainly don't want a voice letting the intruders know you've opened your safe!

I was looking to a large security safe, but didn't want to spend $1000. For the price this safe appears to be an excellent buy. Nice size and has a lot of features. Very easy to set-up, IF you watch the video. Just using the written instructions would be difficult in my opinion.

I would have given the safe 5 Stars, but have to say I have a concern in that the faceplate/keypad is all plastic. It would not be hard for someone to take a hammer and break the faceplate away, or just kick it off. I'm seriously wondering if the safe can be opened with the faceplate removed - has this ever been tested?
