I bought this ladder for it's safety features after learning of two friends falling off their ladders recently.
As Seniors (75) our sense of balance seems to deteriorate making normal household chores more difficult and dangerous. I wanted to reach the top of my kitchen cabinets to clean both the top surface and all the Bird Houses and Baskets on display up there. Its a horrible job, but necessary at least once a year. So far..I'm only have finished, .... the ladder is very stable, I have handles to hold and a top bar to steady myself. The platform steps are so much better than a "rung" that gives you foot cramps in short order. So Far...this is a true winner. AND it's lighter than my old ladder. I can move it around myself.

The only suggestion I would ask is for instruction information to expect the washer part inside the frame to be removed after removing the protective caps on the top of the ladder. Maybe it was a manufacturing leftover or spacer to keep the integrity of the top portion from being bent? This product helps me reach my garage door opening unit without having to use a free standing ladder.

I keep this in my primary closet to help me reach the top shelves. I like it because it is the right height, and it folds flat for easy storage where it isn't seen. It is also light enough to easily be moved from room to room. Very sturdy. Is wide and deep enough enough for both of my feet.
