I have a long hair German Shepherd which sheds like he's blowing his coat all the damn time. It didn't matter how much we comb/rake an area it seemed like it was an endless supply of hair. It was a real pain in the butt to either keep a trash bin next to us or comb him outside. Or worse yet, feel the need to take him to the groomers more frequently just to get a good comb out.
With this it is no longer a problem. Bring him over, give him a treat, use the brush/vacuum a bit, another treat, some more brushing, throw ball a couple times outside, more brushing, and repeat. Within like 15 minutes we had the entire canister filled. It is a lot easier and a lot more productive than when we did this previously. We just do this a couple times a week and his coat is much thinner. Plus, we have less loose hair clumps around the house. Win-win-win!

The suction is great. I have a shorkie and lately his dander has been driving my allergies INSANE. Our fur baby is a family member, and the thought of re-homing him hurts. I like that the clipper is very gentle, my pup was not nicked at all and she was even very calm during the process. Machine is quiet. We used the lowest setting on both the vacuum and clippers and it performed great. I have a labradoodle so her hair is very thick. Comes with lots and lots of accessories. My only complaint is that the vacuum canister is small so we had to empty it out every few minutes but like I said, my pup's hair is very thick. Charge on the clipper was very good as well. Did not get us through a full clipping but was at least 3 hours worth but by then, pup and I needed a break anyway.

I have long haired dogs - Pomeranians- and keeping them neat and trimmed is a challenge. The groomer is so expensive and some do not do a good job or work well with my dogs. I bought this and used it to groom at home myself. I need some practice and there is learning curve with the cutting tools. The hose and suction is SUPER. I have managed to cut about 75% of the fur floating in my house out. I am thrilled. I also think it is great how all of the tools are in one place. I put it in a plastic tub with the base in the bottom and it stays all together and neat. It is small enough to store on the bottom shelf in my linen closet and I just pull it out when I need. It is worth every penny.

My son bought one of these for his 2 fur babies. I have 3 dachshunds so he brought his over to try. My oldest dog is 17 and I can't take him to the groomer anymore. Another of my dachshunds is a rescue and very nervous and doesn't like going to the groomer. They are all long hair.
