Excellent humidifier

Helps with dry skin and bloody noses. We live in the northwestern part of the US, and dryness is a factor. This is a straightforward, easy to use humidifier. Setting up the app is also easy. I love the essential oil pad it comes with. It keeps to the humidity you set within the room- even with windows open. Easy to use- don't hesitate to buy if you're looking for an absolutely quiet humidifier.
Quiet!

Holds lots of water, runs quiet, I do wish it had more humidity options for auto setting. 40, 50, 60 70....I always seem to find I want somewhere in between like 55%. But I like the tall appearance, more time for the mist to evaporate before it just puddles on my floor. I would buy it again.
Overall happy

Product is very well made and work perfectly. I hope seller also provides some kind of liquid that kills mildew grows at internal compartment which very difficult to clean.
Easy to Use

Happy with the purchase since it's easy to refill the water tank. That was one of the important criteria for us. Seems to work well so far after a month. Nothing to complain about. We don't use the app that goes with it.
Lots of mist, cleaning is a hassle

First, what I love: the smart app is clean and intuitive to use. Ditto for the front panel controls. Setup was easy. There's a nice variety of settings for mist output. It's SUPER quiet on any of the cool mist settings and using the hot mist adds just a little bubbling sound. And, man, does it put out the mist! The highest cool mist setting POURS mist into the air and the highest hot mist setting almost doubles the output. We live in a really, REALLY dry winter climate - often less than 20% relative humidity - and needed relief. This was Wirecutter's top pick, so we got it.
Now what I don't love: Wirecutter states that this model is easy to clean. In what world? It is nothing but nooks and crannies on the inside. The little brush they provide quickly turns to a frazzled mess, as the plastic bristles can't hold up to any amount of brushing. And you need to brush. My only frame of reference is a wicking humidifier from "back in the day", so maybe it's easier than I realize. It takes 20-30 minutes to do a thorough job of it.
We go through the 1.5 gallon tank in 24 hours, so the water isn't doing a lot of just sitting in the machine. Still, after a few days, we see a pink film starting to form on the inner workings, so we definitely want to keep up with regular cleaning. Yuck!
We started by using distilled water, but abandoned that after a week. Buying purified or distilled water would add quite a bit of operating expense and a crazy amount of plastic bottles to (hopefully) get recycled. The pink film I mentioned formed even when using distilled water, so no apparent trade-off there. We're fortunate to live where they just finished a new water treatment plant and our tap water is very good. Not too minerally and we're confident that it's clean enough to turn to mist and breath. We haven't noticed any build-up of the dreaded "white dust" that they warn tap water can leave behind.
