I installed this fan in a chicken coop that needs some ventilation. I needed a system that could be thermostatically controlled, and this is perfect. It's a little loud, but I don't have to stay in the coop. I set it to come on before it gets too hot or too humid, and it keeps the coop cooler and drier. The chickens might say something different, but I can never understand what they're saying. Good quality product that works right and doesn't cost too much. Easy to install and adjust. Great product.

When I ordered this I thought it used both the humidity levels and/or the temperature levels for activation, as I planned on using it to vent out a small closet under the stairs that had an air return in it, but does not have a humidity issue, so this is not going to work for that. A shame, as it is the exact size of the opening. Currently I do not have an issue in my crawl space, so I do not need to use it there. I will hold on to it however as you never know.
I was really surprised with the sturdiness of this fan though, for the price I was expecting it to be a lot flimsier, but the metal frame is good and solid.

This is a great crawlspace ventilation fan rated for 2400-3600 sqft space.
Lots of thoughtful upgrades compared to the previous unit that I got that will insure longer life.
First, it is IP55 rated so it can better handle water and dust, which most crawlspace have a lot of.
Then, it has a protective mesh to prevent rodents and other critters out of your crawlspace.
I love that the humidity sensor is enclosed in a solid container instead of a tiny plug-in sensor.
Finally,... if you live in an area like Lake Arrowhead where you get snow and freezing weather, this fan has a Thermostat to stop it from running when the weather is too cold, to prevent damage.
They really put a lot of thoughts in these upgrades. Plus, it is nicely packaged and comes with everything you need to easily install it.
Highly recommended!
