Our kids wanted these due to seeing ads on Paramount+. I was skeptical but they bought them for birthdays for each other. My son is 8 and the right age and yet he found the instructions annoying. To play with the kit you have to sequence the opening of the toy just like it is used in the ad. Once it's open it's basically just a giant paperweight. They don't regret their money spent but also haven't touched them since the first day it arrived.
