This machine works great. It preheats great and works ideally on the lower level heat. I did my first two on the high setting and they didn't come out well, but when I went to the lower setting I had great results. This product has some extra tools that are enclosed right on-board, plus it accommodates pages up to 11" wide, which has come in handy a few times already. Newspaper pages are wider (although they don't laminate as nicely) it is nice to preserve them. And I had a small poster for 40 years that I didn't want to spend money framing, but I ran it through the laminator and now there's no more worries about it bending or tearing.

It comes with about 40 laminating sheets, but they are various sizes, so order plenty of product to laminate your 8.5 x 11 sheets to start; you won't get them initially. This is good, though, because you'll have a handful of the odd sizes that you won't order but will need on occasion, from business card size up to the 11 x 14 that I mentioned above. Also, in the Americas, get plenty of product for your 8.5 x 11s as the ones included are A4 sized and you'll likely want to save those for the unusual times when you need to laminate that size.
