My father refused to use a cane when the doctors asked him to use one. This was the answer! He uses this all the time. Great design and it folds up nicely. Would be nice for the top section to fold to make it just a little smaller. A more textured grip would also be nice. But other than that, it gets two thumbs up!

I like this cane pretty ok. I wish the handle was made a little differently. My hand tends to slip down it if I don't have a finger or thumb holding on at the top. The other thing I would change about this cane is the bottom foot. It hasn't been 100% non-slip, catches on things (a bit dangerous), and it never stands up on it's own without me spending a minute balancing it. Then it falls with a slight breeze. It comes with a wrist loop, so I hang mine up.

My uncle uses a traditional cane with the 90 degree handle and four feet, and says he gets better support for his body weight with that type of cane. He can really lean on that type of cane. You cannot really lean much on this cane. It more or less helps me keep my balance, good posture, and is a just-in-case if I fall.

Also, with my cane, he says he cannot manage a good grip with his arthritis enough to utilize it. He needs a cane to support more of his weight, and a traditional cane does that. I do not need to support a significant amount of my body weight (I am just about healed from a broken ankle and toes), so this cane was great for my needs, but not his. Our lesson here is to keep in mind How you are going to use a cane, and your own abilities before you decide on a type to buy. Hope this helps!

Very sturdy. A little hard to grip handle. Small hand, thumb doesn't fit well. Just want stand up good on it's own. Don't let go, it will fall over. Base needs improving.

I've been using a four-footed cane since my stroke, and I've gotten to the point I feel it's slowing me down. I've also started to trip over it. I'm sure the tripping is all my fault, but"¦
A friend had purchased one of these canes a recommended it to me I tried his up and down a long corridor, and immediately Ordered one when I sat down. I received it before it was expected and have used it for several days. I love it.
I'm able to walk upright at a normal pace. I carry it farther from my body, so it isn't a tripping hazard like my other cane. The grip is quite different and so far doesn't aggravate my tendinitis

This is the third cane that I had ordered. I unfortunately had lost the first two canes, a black and a blue cane. I am unable to use the standard cane due to my hands and back condition of not being able to keep my back straight. This is the best cane for my needs. This time I ordered the purple one but it was a blue one in the box marked purple. Was disappointed in this but I'm not going to return due to the color as I need it and unable to wait. I am so pleased with this walking cane.
