It would look like it's straight out of the Uncanny Valley, but it's just on the edge. I've had rubber bugs before and, I don't see this thing initiating a jump scare if I opened a drawer and saw it. When you turn it on, though, it scurries pretty fast and convincingly. Looks great, works great. I wish the internals were more visible from the outside, but hey.

Xmas gift for 6 year old granddaughter. She had a blast scaring people as it scuttled around. The cat enjoyed the creature as well. The tail did break off but it kept going. Someone commented that they wish the color could be chosen versus random.
