Generally, I've enjoyed all the Amazon products I've got over the years. My 7 Fire Sticks, Kindle, Amazon Basic products, and I still even use that disconnected watch. I needed to add some new speakers to one of my TVs and for the price I was super impressed right off the bat at the quality here. I hooked this unit up to my LG TV which had actually decent built in speakers but the extra clarity and sound power of the Amazon Sound Bar really, really is nice. Quick and easy to intall and was able to test the sound out in less than a minute.

I tried it out with a 007 movie and some Resident Evil 4 Remake in the DLC Separate Ways. Both medias sounded great, the EQ was dialed in and I was actually more impressed with the bass power than I thought I would. Beyond loud enough than I will need with it too.

Also, I hooked mine up with the Optical Cable S/PIDIF cable because I didn't want to have to lose an HDMI slot. There's probably some extra features one would get by pairing this up officially to an Amazon TV with the HDMI but the optical solution worked perfect for me in my setup.

Like anything, you could spend more money and get more powerful watts of sound. But I believe this unit would work fantastic for most folks just needing to get some quality sound for their TV setup. Good stuff!

The Amazon Fire TV Soundbar offers full range sound in a compact size. To be fair this is not a high end soundbar, but it's not priced or promoted that way. It's well made and very easy to set up. The voice prompts for the different inputs makes it easy to navigate between HDMI, optical and Bluetooth options.

I did notice several of the early reviews expressed disappointment that there's not integrated streaming in the soundbar. For me that's not an issue since I'd rather have my streaming device separate from the soundbar. At the end of the day, it's all about the audio and this soundbar delivers solid sound in a compact footprint (only 2 ft. long). Great quality product.

I bought this for my FireTV, and I'm so glad I did. The difference it made over just the speakers that are built into the TV is immense. Installation is super easy. You just plug into the TV and then the power outlet. If you still have your TV remote, you won't need the extra remote that comes with this. The sound quality is excellent, and saves considerable space and money over a home theater system. I'll likely get one for another of my FireTVs in the future.

I normally play sound through bluetooth speakers especially when watching my youtube music playlist. This unit plugs into the wall vs. running batteries and constantly charging them. These aren't a surround sound experience and you don't have speakers hanging everywhere. These are a simple sound upgrade.

I didn't want to run a cable from the tv to the sound bar, so I'm using bluetooth. I believe I delayed the TV to sync latency with the old bluetooth speakers. The new speakers were in sync when I powered them on.

These speakers are clearer than the bluetooth speakers they replaced. The bass is fine and good enough to fill up a small room. I was quickly impressed when the sound 1st started coming out and it's an improvement over the older speakers .

I've just setup my remote to turn on both the TV and sound bar meaning I have one remote on my coffee table. It drives me crazy to need 2 to 3 remotes to watch TV.

Do I recommend these speakers? Yes

It's a big improvement over your stock speakers, it sounds pretty good, whispers are almost too quiet, then booms are way louder. The instructions suck, there are no details of functions. Overall it's pretty good for the money.
