Was unsure how it would look like based on the stock photo. Turns out it's very thick and high quality, perfect for adding extra space and protecting the stove from dust and dings. It's going to work perfect for cooling baked goods. In my case I have an induction stove with rear button controls so there's no worry about turning on the heat and ruining the mat, however, I would be too nervous to put this a gas or electric stove with front knobs.

I really like how well this silicone cover fits my new Samsung Induction Stove. When not using the stove, the cover gives me space to use as a countertop. The textured silicone grips and holds pretty much everything I've put on it very securely. I took away one star because the silicone itself is a bit thing and after two weeks hasn't released the shipping folds completely. I recommend this product.
