This sort of capture setup is perfect when the device you are trying to capture from can't handle the capture (like a console, or making sure your gaming pc keeps its focus on gaming, and sending the capture to a second computer). The USB output is locked to 1080p but was noticeably smoother than other cards I tried.
The HDMI out unfortunately did not seem to support 144hz, but that may or may not be due to the cables I tried- it also does not claim to support more than 60hz. It does at least support higher resolution on the HDMI than on the USB, so you can play on a better resolution than you record on.
For price ratio this capture card wins. More features get a lot more expensive.

4K@60Hz USB 3.0 HDMI Audio Video Capture Card: Works As Expected

This USB 3.0 HDMI audio video capture card is a good value for streaming and is ease of use. However, it's important to note that it has a 1080p limit, so it may not be suitable for those seeking higher resolution capture. Nonetheless, it performs as expected and is a practical tool for capturing and streaming video content.
Great card. Perfect for streaming games.

I got this capture card to help me stream games from my modern consoles, and this most certainly did the trick. For the price, it's pretty high quality for those wanting to get in without wanting to splurge on an Elgato.
adequate performance for limited applications

I am reviewing the product "4K@60Hz Audio Video Capture Card, USB 3.0 HDMI Video Capture Device" on 2 October, 2023.
My application for a video capture card is to serve as part of a system to stream LaserDisc movies on my home LAN, enabling "watch anywhere" viewing of this past-its-prime format. I maintain a large collection of LaserDiscs and continue to enjoy watching them. There's no need to relegate a dearly-loved though obsolete format to the sidelines when modern technology can integrate its pleasures into the 21st century.
For this application, the specifications of the card are more than adequate. LaserDisc resolution is approximately 480 interlaced lines (referred to as 480i in modern terminology), and this card managed that limited-fidelity signal as effectively as could be expected. The images were sharp and free of compression artifacts or other added issues, with low latency.
The audio input on this card is limited to a single 3.5mm analog jack"”a constraint that other streamers might find problematic but was perfectly acceptable for my use case.
All connections are intuitive and mate reliably.
It's worth noting that high-resolution video may suffer during this card's digitization process if the resolution exceeds 1080P. 4K inputs will be downsampled. If your application does not require a resolution higher than 1080P nor audio input beyond stereo, this card's performance should be entirely adequate.
