I like that the camera is easy to navigate as a stand-alone device, it has a clear image and is quick to set up and get going.

This is my first ever dash cam, and with the traffic around where I live, I felt I needed it. People drive like crazy! I was worried this would be tough to install. I'm not sure if it's because my car had easy panels to fit the cord into or not, but once I got it mounted to the windshield, all I had to do was tuck the cable away so it wasn't in the way. The camera has a very lengthy cable which made fitting it around the side of the interior stress free. Once I got that taken care of, I plugged it in and it started up. It's been running ever since. Super easy. It's great to have it there, but I hope I never have to actually use it!

As soon as you turn on car it boots up and starts recording. There is a feature on it but you have to set it up each time before you turn off the car to parking mode. Parking mode will start recording if your car gets hit while your in a store or at home. I did see that feature in the camera while setting it up. I keep two screens on. The front and back. I don't record inside the car. But it can switch to that. However it can only see toward the middle of the back seat. I was able to hide the cords around the top of the inside of the car. It comes with screws and a sticky pad for the back camera. I just just the stick pad for now. It holds up so far, it's been a couple of weeks in Florida heat and it hasn't fallen yet.

I tested the sensors for motion as well and it worked great at night as well as the day time. The camera came with a memory stick which other sellers do not include in their package.
