It is a good item to buy,it worth the price,picture is bright and clear.The only issue I had is ,it does not get stick on the wall even with a high quality porcelain.I place behind tv because all the time fail and I do not want to drill my porcelain wall.

It works pretty well. I can get roughly 35 channels in my city. The TV's on a first floor, and I put the antenna as close to a window, high up, as I possibly could. I know if I could place it higher, I'd get more channels. We don't watch a lot of local TV anyway, but it's nice to have when we need it for weather alerts or live sporting events.

This antenna was very easy to hook up and works well. The high definition picture is great on all of the national networks but I can only get standard def. on some of the other "cable" stations. However it was still worth the money for this item.

I thought I would end up returning this item. I live in a valley. An old Quarry. Rock ridge to the east is taller than my house. I really only have clear line of sight to the south. It did not do well in a 1st floor window. When I moved it to a 2nd floor window, and rescanned I was able to get NBC, FOX, CBS.
Since cutting my cable there are really only 2 times a year I miss it- 1) New Years Eve, to watch the ball drop 2) The Superbowl. Well worth the price to ba able to asccess network TV for free.
The major selling features for me were 1) the long attached cable (you always need more than you think). and 2) The cable detaches so you only have to fit a small cable through the wall from the outside. Many antennae have the cable permanently hard wires, so you would have to make a hole large enough for the coax/USB power splitter to fit through.
