I have 2 Shih tzu/yorkies (shorkies) and a German Shepard and I was able to cut one of the shorkies hair in no time flat! I brushed the German shepherd who sheds horribly and it was so nice. He's terrified of vacuum and he just laid down and let me brush him. To be able to both cut and brush 2 different types of dogs and not have to deal with the flying hair and clean up was super nice. This has made brushing my dogs so much easier! They both are huge shedders and I am using this daily to help eliminate some of the fur balls around my house!
The sound is low but they still don't like it. So I brush them without it, move the brush away and turn it on to and their fur is sucked into canister.

We received this right before going on an RV trip with our 2 German Shepherd's and 1 American Eskimo. It can be a challenge keeping a 40 ft. RV clean with 3 dogs while camping. I set it up under our awning and 1 by one brought the dogs over to try it with the brush attachment. Each one took to it right away and thoroughly enjoyed being brushed with it. The vacuum noise did not bother them at all. In fact, once I brought it indoors to use, they lined up to get brushed. It is easy to clean and use. I will try the clippers and other attachments soon but am sold with just the use of the brush! Even my husband was impressed with it! The picture is from the first time I used it on all 3 dogs.
The added bonus with this is the fact that it also vacuums up dirt and dust that your pets fur picks up. Their coats are clean and shiny after I use this.

It works great, help my Rottweilers with shedding and got the hair off them. It didn't scare them with the noise, including the one who is scared of everything. All of them want to continue to be brushed even though they are done. They are now laying down next to it waiting for their turn.

So far this has been a great product but there are 3 things it needs.
1. A longer hose. Would be great to have a 6 foot hose than you can set on the ground and work around the dog better while working with a table.
2. A better antistatic plastic for the bucket. There is a lot of static that builds up and causes the hair to stick to the plastic
3. A rechargeable nail grinder attachment would make another great add to this kit.
