I've had bad experiences with plastic mats in the past so I opted to try this one based on the reviews. Overall it's a decent mat. It won't likely have the problems that plastic ones have with the wheels breaking through the plastic. On the downside, it's not as easy to maneuver on this mat. The wheels just don't turn and move as easily. Better than a plastic mat but not as good as my homemade mat that I had to replace.

One person in our office purchased this mat and now we have several folks in our office with this same brand chair mat but in different colors of course. We were looking for mats that would grip both the carpet and linoleum floor and these mats work great for that. For me that makes the biggest difference... the grip on the bottom and how easily my chair rolls on it. It doesn't roll so much that the chair will slip either. Personally, I prefer a mat with a little color and design and this brand offers multiple designs and colors. Great chair mat!

I received my rug in a very timely fashion. When I took it out of the shipping container it had no problem laying flat immediately. I love the color and the way it matches my room. I purchased it because I have a desk in my bedroom and I did not want to have a hard mat that I would stump my toe on in my room. I do have another hard mat underneath it to give it extra stability since my carpet is very plush. It seems to be staying flat without the corners coming up. The only issue that I have noticed is that I have to keep putting it back where it belongs. I know this is because I have plush carpet. If this was a rug on a hard floor, I'm sure it would not move at all. Overall, I think it was a great purchase and I love the way it accents my desk area in my room.

It's a semi-sturdy (I use the term loosely) tri-folded piece of fabric, glued to a flimsy piece of plastic. I've had it less than two weeks and it is already curling at the edges. I don't think it'll last a month.
I gave it 3 stars for Maneuverability because it doesn't like to stay put at all. It *loves* to slide around.
The only reason I would buy another would be for a gag gift, or possibly a passive-aggressive revenge plot.

Exactly what I wanted. A great chair mat that worked great right out of the box on carpet without having to get any creases out or anything. Unfolded it and put the chair on top and it was good to go. Really doesn't slide at all and is made of a great material. Would definitely recommend to someone looking for something that they don't have to work to get flat. Was packaged nicely and came in a reasonable time.
