This was such a smart buy and for an excellent price. We have two little rescue dogs and we discovered one is a ''runner'' and the other one will follow if she gets free two. We tried everything, including a very expensive GPS system that we are unable to connect to our phones. One day a lightbulb went off in my head and I started to explore dog fences and came across this product. The price was great and it looked good on the picture and it said it was easy to install. There was a little misunderstanding on the delivery and the company were shift to message me with info and my products...I ordered an extra gate...came days ahead of schedule. My husband and granddaughter quickly put the fence together and was easy to install as was said in the blurb about the product. It took a little over an hour to get the job done and that was because my husband had to drill holes i the patio tiles to accommodate the small spikes to stabilize the panels. The fence is very attractive and my babies tried their best to find a way out of it but could not. I am so happy. This product is lovely but might not be the best for bigger, stronger dog determined to get out. The fencing comes with two gates and the latches need two hands to release if you have small hands. I ordered a third gate because we needed them. Can't go wrong with this fence to keep your beloved pets safe from harm...or taking off and chasing their dreams.

UPDATE: I received the offer of a full refund from the seller. The customer service reps were very responsive. However, I refused the refund and sent this message back:

"Thank you very much for this offer. I am reluctant to accept your offer - though it is generous and definitely makes me want to purchase more from you. The rust is there and it is an issue - but at this point - I can still use the fencing. So - I would like to suggest that I continue to use the fencing - and if the rusting progresses to the point where the fencing is unsafe, unusable because of rusting or becomes just overtaken by rust within a reasonable period of time...then I will request a refund. It doesn't seem fair to receive a full refund at this point when the fencing is still working - and I don't want to put a business that is trying to do a good job out of business!

However, please address the rust issue. It would be great for people to not have to worry about it."

I ordered the 24", 24 panel set and also the 3 carry bags that go with this fencing. The fence was received quickly and while not super easy to set up for one person - I got better with practice. At the bottom of one panel, I noticed paint missing - but - because I hate the hassle of returning things, I decided it wasn't worth making an issue of - and I did not report it.

Because I wanted my dogs to become accustomed to the pen, I set it up outside. There are many pictures of it being set up outside on AMZ, and even being used as what appears to be permanent fencing. However, after only two days of sitting outside, it began to rust. It appears to be a paint issue. I have been very gentle with the fence, but the paint scratches off incredibly easily. The latches have rusted in the interior of the mechanism, and several of the connecting poles of scratches that are now rusting. The panel with the larger amount of paint missing is really showing the rust.

Attempted to contact the seller through his website and although it says they will respond within 48 hours - that did not happen. They have a phone number that is "unavailable". There is no way to contact them without using a web form, apparently. I spent several hundred dollars on this setup - and to see it rusting after 4 weeks and less than a week of exterior use is upsetting.

I don't know what to do at this point except to recommend to not purchase. The paint quality and how it is being applied is ruining an otherwise great product. The lack of speedy response and the lack of a working phone number for customer support is another concern.

While I do like the overall look of this playpen I was very disappointed in the fact that my 8 month old puppy is able to unlatch the door from the inside. I wanted something safe and reliable to use when I have to be away from home and don't like to leave her in the crate unless I have to. I started with a tent like playpen but she eventually chewed a hole in the side and got out so I thought I found something she could not escape from. Boy was I wrong! The first time she got out I thought I didn't secure the latch and blamed it on myself. The second time I was convinced that she climbed out because the door was closed when I got home. However, I tested that theory and discovered that she's not able climb out. The third and final time I discovered that she is indeed able to get the door unlatched! Because I didn't want to go through the hassle of trying to find something else, I opted to use an old collar around the top of the door to keep it closed. So even though she is still able to unlatch it, the collar is what's keeping the door closed. I may eventually get a lock but decided to use something I already had available.

With that being said, the playpen is very easy to assemble. I would agree that the metal is very easy to get scratched but that didn't bother me as much. If my puppy was not able to escape I would have given the product 4 stars

The seller reached out and sent me another playpen free of charge. Hopefully the original one I received was defective and I don't encounter the same problem. I am very pleased with their customer service and how quickly they worked to resolve the issue.

Upgrading this review from 2-star to 5-star because of outstanding customer service. When I originally received this, the gates had a two latch setup which required both hands and reaching over to unlatch and is very inconvenient. Not fully sure if I received an old model or if they're still making it this way, but customer service reached out and made things right"¦

They offered a refund, but I did like the fence (just not the gate latches) and it would have been a pain to return. They sent a new gate with one handed operation and were very open to my recommendations.

The fence is very easy to setup and works great around my RV. I did angle the sections to add a bit more strength as I have a longer run than what they're meant for"¦if you do this, account for needing more fence since you loose some distance that they cover. Also, a piece of duct tape holding the bottom latch open is a good modification if you get the two handed latch gate.

This saved me a considerable amount of time and money compared to building a fence that would have been permanent"¦with this, I can take it when I move or if I travel with the RV. Highly recommended!

This is the second type of dog fencing I've bought. I bought portable fencing for my camper where the panels are already connected and fold and they are spiked into the ground. I got this fencing for a new house I'm moving into. The foldable fencing is great for the camper and this would be too. The backyard at my new house is very uneven so I was worried about this working. The panels are very light and it was very easy to set up. You need a hammer that will pound the round ball at the top of the poles past the top of the panels in order to drive them in deep enough; we used the handle of the hammer because the panels are close together and hammerhead won't go between the panels. Works fine on uneven ground and seems pretty stable. One of the brackets broke off of one of the panels so don't push the ball down too far.
