Good for outdoor or emergency cooking needs

This little oven works great. It takes a while to heat up but once it does it really does a good job. I cooked a little pizza in it and it came out great and in less time than I expected. The heat actually got away from me but that was my fault. I used a couple of old sterno cans that I found in my basement and when the oven reached the desired temp I tried to put them out with the snuffer and cap and they wouldn't go out. Just kept flaming wildly. Tried water and that didn't work either. Finally got them out but had a very smoky room. Scorched the snuffer so that the paint bubbled up on it but it's not badly damaged and will still work fine. So I'd say the quality is very good. Just be sure you use newer cans of fuel. :-)
Just works!

Tested it thoroughly and finally feel comfortable, learning curve for sure but we cooked, muffins, cornbread, rolls and bread while camping. So cool. I found if I add 6 charcoals to the mixed of sticks and twigs - it will keep the temperature up for sure. quality built, sturdy but not too heavy. Took inside at home and cooked simulating when power goes out. used Canned heat - make sure you pull the wicks up to the 1" as instructed - it took me a undercooked nasty loaf of bread to finally read the instructions like I should have. My wife just shook her head. Then it worked perfect. Baked a cassarole, baked salmon, peach cobbler and a rhubarb pie -so good. Love it! None of my camping buddies have something this cool - ha
Great product, good price

I didn't buy this from Amazon but it worked so well I wanted to give a review. Outside 58 degrees 5MPH wind. Two Safe Fire canisters. I left it to heat up while working in the yard. I also put a Coghlan's Emergency Camp Stove on top of the exhaust vent - one leg folded down so it wouldn't block the vent and also create a flat surface - and put a cup of water in a small pot on top of that.
When I returned to check on it, the little stove was over 500 degrees and the water was boiling. Haven't baked anything yet because you do have to burn off the coating -OUTSIDE and that needs another burn time or two. However, I am pleased with it so far.

The most handy oven for outside using wood or charcoal. Indoors I use canned heat, and very pleased how the system works. Takes a little longer than a regular oven, but no worries, food is cooked fine. Thank you.
