I have two vehicles, and I usually only use one of them periodically. The one that sits for a few weeks gets the solar panel clipped on, and I have an absolutely full battery whenever I'm ready to go. It's easy to switch vehicles, and incredibly simple to set up, the SAE connectors make positive and negative a non-issue.
The 20w panel is more than enough to keep the battery topped off, and isn't too big to be unwieldy.
I was working on one of my vehicles, and it took about a month. By the time I was finished, the battery was completely toast. Now I just hook it up to the panel and it's good to go when I'm finished.
I driled a hole into an old brake disc to make a mount for it so the wind won't take it anywhere either, works great, and can turn it as the sun moves throughout the day.

I was lucky enough to get this on sale. It is half the size of the one I bought a few years ago while performing the same functions. Easy to hook up and is already trying to charge my boat battery even though the boat is covered!

This works good, but it will take days to get battery charged to it is fully charged. I think it will be great to maintain battery.
