Purchased this one for my father in law (75yrs old)for his birthday gift who has mild to moderate hearing loss. Very affordable for the price. He has been wearing the device for quite sometime now and we have seen him respond more quickly to conversations and he gets more engaged this time without hesitation. He had some hearing loss issues for quite a while now and was so grateful and happy getting the device for him. He appreciated the fact that he can clearly hear every word and is able to communicate better. Best gift he said.

I really like that the length fits a long ear. They stay in place of a pretty open ear as well. I like how the case can be charged and carried on-person. The battery life is long. In addition, the volume and power dials/switch are easy to use. The only things I would have to gripe about is that the inner ear piece could use a silicone pad but it's not too big of an issue for me. Also, bright case colors are better for dark places like bags/purses/totes and night time (especially in a hurry or for elderly/mobility disabilities. Shipping and receiving time was fast and conveniently on-time. Product was packaged with care as these types of items are delicate. I would repurchase this product ever needed to be replaced or recommend to others for overall quality and price point.

If you are just looking to be able to hear more for a low cost then these will get the job done. They do not seem to do anything to improve the quality of the sound you hear though. I hear white noise along with louder sounds. I haven't tested in a noisy restaurant yet, but I suspect any benefit in being able to hear people at my table would be offset by also being able to hear everyone else much more. There is effort to filter out sounds you wouldn't want to hear.

After injury to my hearing (not good to begin with) I needed something to assist my hearing enough to communicate with other people during the three months I am waiting for my ENT appointment so a doctor can tell me what features I need for full range of hearing and filtering out background noises. I decided on this one after studying Amazon. reviews for this and similar products. for a temp in the meantime. I have followed the product user manual carefully to get accustomed to the unit and for my hearing to learn to disregard background noises and just started wearing it for long periods of time. It takes some learning to adjust the volume controls in different milieu, but I am very pleased with the level of hearing assistance assistance and I now hear enough to understand most of what others are saying around me instead of feeling increasingly cut off as before. It performs much better than I ever expected from a unit this cost. It comes very nicely packaged with clear directions (don't skip reading and following them if you want it to work as the manufacturer claims).. The only issue I have is it says to register the warranty and return it to manufacturer, as well as to contact them for repairs but there is absolutely no information enclosed to identify the manufacturer, where to register or return the unit"”no names, address, phone number or website!
