iPhone 12 max pro. Pairs instantaneous.
Occasionally while streaming from Amazon music, the audio will "hiccup" on one, but usually both channels. It's like the song keeps playing and for
Mix and match the three extra ear tips/flaps to best fit you. I've always had issues finding "yawn" approved earbuds. Heck, some just fall out while turning my head. The fit is so good that it acts like ear plugs and I hear my inner-tonal voice while singing to the music, or my jaw movements while chewing gum. It's not ANC, but it's a close second.
The BASS. I've had subs in a trunk before. This is that - all the punch of 8's, 10's, and 12's but none of the chest palpitations. Best of all, the mids and highs stay INTACT. It doesn't bleed over or blow out because the driver can't keep up. The more you turn up the volume - the bigger the boost. And that's not to say you can't hear the bass at low volume levels either. The bass is on point. From drum kicks to synths. On point.

Goodie Mob. Passed but some of the highs were clipping. I think that has more to do with how the editing was mixed from a pre-digital era.
Dr. Dre & Eminem. Both and together. Passed
Snoop Dogg - percussion and precision executed flawlessly.

Chicago. Double what I just said about Boston and add in sounds I've never heard before. Passed
The Crystal Method. OMG. Passed
Daft Punk. On point as it should be. Passed.
Led Zeppelin. Absolutely passed. Cymbals have never sounded so good!
4D sounds and soundscapes - double check. The earplug effect and the quality of the audio combined makes for a fantastic sound therapy session.
The one thing I will add that I've noticed a LOT of feedback about: pulling the buds from the case and the case overall size. False and true.
Yes, at first I found the earbuds difficult to retrieve from the case. There's just not that much surface area above the case remaining when the earbuds are properly nestled. HOWEVER, after trying a few different ways"¦ I have found this no longer true. Look at the picture included and know that my hand size is L-XL in most gloves.
Yes, the case size is larger than most earbuds - but for the triple driver setup that fits and feels weightless in my ear while listening to the FANTASTIC sounds it's producing"¦. I can't imagine the case being the issue at all (especially the charge it holds and the charging time turnaround). Maybe"¦ just maybe"¦ someone will 3d print a silicone wraparound for the case that allows you to carry it on a lanyard?? For now, mine fits snugly next to my wallet (billfold) in my cargo pocket. Heck, sometimes I have to place my hand on the pocket to make sure it's there"¦ what's that tell you?

TLDR: These are great earbuds for those who want a smooth professional looking set of earbuds that deliver amazing sound without the need for phone apps and complex equalizers. Case design provides a very solid and smooth platform for safety and charging, though some may have difficulty removing the earbuds for use.
Long and involved review full of personal bias and opinions:
This is probably the best earbuds I've had to date.
With previous earbuds I've had better sound, or longer battery life, or better range, or better comfort, or more options, but I've honestly never had the best balance of all of those things in one set of earbuds.
First off, no App necessary. Sure, apps are great to twink things and adjust EQ's, but they also cause almost more problems than they create solutions. The sound from these are very good, very balanced. Bass is there when it needs to be, highs the same thing. The first set of buds that I haven't felt the need to twink the sound in a long time. I find that the sound is very well balanced. On occasion I miss the bass, but I've found that it depends on what the music emphasizes. On songs that have bass, the bass is STRONG. but most songs don't do this, so if you're looking for greater flexibility or control on the sound, this may not be your thing.
Style: very modern and smooth. you may not think about it, but how the earbuds are designed go a long ways towards comfort and feel. these are simply and direct. you know where the buttons are, where the speakers are. They also don't look like alien growths coming out of your ears. very sleek and modern feel and appearance. I would not feel bad wearing these in a meeting with Director or above level representatives. Grey/black tone design fits well with most professional environments.
Case: I can't tell you how many earbuds I've had that were great buds but ruined by the case design. the design here is great: magnetic closure is sound with a nice click, buds are secure and charge easily. Its the only case I've had in 4 different setups that I actually liked. the buds are very secure in the case. Some people have mentioned difficulty getting them out of the case. if you just use your index finger and thumb, and position them above the buds and squeeze and pull together, they come out easily. but they are very secure in the case, some consider this a bad, I consider it good.
Function: very easy to understand and simple to use. unlike many other buds, they use simple push buttons at the top of the earbuds. I LIKE THIS. I hate having to constantly tap an earbud wondering if it's actually working as intended or not. 2 buttons, simple operations listed in the manual. stable, strong, secure. I like it.
Cons:
I feel it's important to list some cons, as all products have them. So here it is:
Although I love how they fit into the case, they are a deep and tight fits. some people have problems pulling them out. they're cylindrical in design: grab the cylinder between thumb and forefinger and squeeze as you pull up, I never had issues doing it this way.
Lack of equalizer and phone app may irritate some people, but the sound balance is so good IMO that it isn't needed. these are earbuds for people who want to insert and go.
When using for work as a mic, I tend to like to have only one bud in, and it seems a bit finicky when trying to get it to recognize that you want it to work as speaker and earbud when you only have one earbud in. I have to put both in initially, then pull one out, and it works fine. otherwise, people can't hear me on my meetings. I may find settings that fix this, but in the meantime, it seems like an extra step that doesn't need to be there.
that's it. I'm looking for other negatives, haven't found them. Unless your a high end audiophile and want that specific level of control, these earbuds are amazing and do the job +10

I have now owned 3 of these earbuds. (This pair is my 5th Status product and I will gladly keep coming back for more!) The first pair I bought, I had some issues with, but Status customer service was super helpful in getting me a replacement pair promptly and for free. After tons of use (and dropping them a few times) I ended up busting them slightly. They weren't able to be covered by the warranty, so instead, Status gave me 50% off a new pair! And the most recent time, I bought a pair for my dad when they were on sale for only $69.99, that was a STEAL! So far, he loves them. His favorite part is that he can do an entire 10-12 hour shift at work without needing to charge them part way through.
The Between Pros are by far the best wireless earbuds I have ever owned. The sound quality is amazing and when I compare them to my Galaxy Buds, I'll take the Status any day of the week. The amount of charge time the buds and case hold is enough to get me interested, but it's the quality of the sound that will keep me coming back. The bass is much more prominent on the Between Pros than any other true wireless earbuds I've used before. The highs, mids and lows are all crisp, clear and full. It's a much richer tone and quality than the Galaxy Buds or even the Status BT Structure headphones I used to own. I haven't personally been on the receiving end of a phone call where someone is using the Between Pros, but my wife and friends all say that they can't really tell I'm using earbuds if I'm driving or walking. Compared to all the other brands I've used, the Status are the first that seem to not let any wind or vehicle/road noise through the mic. I'm not the most sound savvy person and I don't know the words to use to describe the sound of these headphones, but I can guarantee that they are well worth the money! However, if the cost is a bit much for you, they seem to have sales often enough so that shouldn't ever be too much of an issue.
My only negatives are that I wish it had a little more integration with phones and other apps. My Galaxy Buds can read me notifications and alert me to more than just a call. And the feature of enhancing background noise has come in handy at work to keep me aware of my surroundings.
Those are just a couple minor features that aren't really necessary to me, but I sometimes wish the Between Pros had. I know some people have troubles getting the buds out of the case, but I've personally never had that issue. I have had the issue where they stay connected to my phone even after they're put back in their case. But that has only happened on a couple rare occasions.
Status has recently announced the new Between Pro 3ANC. While I would love to try them, I'll be waiting for my current Between Pros to break. I'm looking forward to the noise cancellation, and the new control app that comes with them. As well as the slimmer case design that will make it easier/more comfortable to carry the case in a pocket as the current case can be a bit bulky. The buds should also be much easier to grab out of the case.

Beyond Excellent So Far

Absolutely great headphones. Great build quality, fit perfectly snug, easy to use. there is no EQ option or app with these, so that may be a liability with some. But I've never needed an app and the sound quality is beyond excellent.
Also, they fit so well that noise cancellation isn't really needed. It's so quiet with them in my ear, but not on. I actually wear them to Costco so people won't talk to me (introverted sometimes). It's a DREAM.
These are also much more affordable that AirPods and are actually water and sweat resistant. The basic AirPods (at this writing) aren't, which blows my mind. so yeah, they're great for working out. I've never had one fall off.
Case is great. Phones fit snug in case. Charging is fast - holds a charge for a LONG time.

Amazing Sounds - Some Improments Needed

This is my first pair of wireless earbuds, and I'm in my mid 30's. I've always used $20 Skullcandy Ink'd 2's because of the sound quality and affordability.
I purchased these wireless earbuds last November 2023 because I wanted a change, and to not have to deal with wires while working out. I also wanted a pair of earbuds that would last longer than Skullcandy's.
I'd recommend only using Status Audio wireless earbuds when there isn't alot of movement. Not for exercise! Great if you are sitting still, working on your computer or kicking back and relaxing. The sound quality is amazing, crisp and clear. It's even better if you have a volume booster app.
The flaws I've experienced is that despite cleaning out my ears on a daily basis, is that the silicone ear tips have a tendency of slipping, and if you're always on the go, there's the worry of them falling out and damaging your earbuds. It's happened a couple times already. The quality here is good and it feels comfortable in my ears, but it should be better for the price that you're paying for the overall product. Unless if I missed something in the directions, I don't understand why were there different sized and shaped silicone ear tips included, when it should be one size fits all. It only makes sense to include a couple more replacement tips because I'm sure they wear out overtime.
Another issue that I noticed is the battery expectancy. Once it reaches 10%, it will almost immediately shut off. It doesn't last until 1%. That can be a nuisance if you're using these earbuds to make and receive phone calls.
