Nice compact power unit

The media could not be loaded. This well-made compact device is perfect to put in the glove compartment of your vehicle. Although mine did not come with any instructions, it's pretty obvious that you simply plug it into your cigarette lighter, turn on the switch at the rear of device, and then plug-in the item you want to power. There's a green and red indicator light on the front of the unit as well. As you can see, in the video, I took for you, we plugged in a lightning cable and as soon as the cable was plugged into the iPhone, the charging indicator lit. Nice that it has two electric outlets as well as two USB outlets for versatility. Just remember to stay below the maximum Watt you can draw from the unit and to turn it off when not in use.

Works perfect for my jenky solar setup in my shed. I have a 6ah 12c LifePo4 battery, this inverter and a small 12v solar battery maintainer. Plugged into 3 4' LED lights in my shed. I am now able to have light in my building that does not yet have electricity run to it.

This inverter is great! it produces a stable modified sine wave output at ~115v and 60 hz, which is perfect for most items you would like to use, with the exception of a louder hum when using something with a motor as a result of it not having a pure sine wave. It seems to power a few hundred watts no problem, and the fan was never noticable to me in my testing. If you are connecting this directly to a 12v battery, you will be just fine. However, if you simply plug this into your car and try to pull more than about 150w, you'll likely end up blowing the fuse and will need to replace it. This is because the 12v cigarette connector it uses is not designed to handle this much power, unless you are using an adapter to connect it directly to the battery.

I've only used this for charging phone/laptop not actually powering anything. It works well for that purpose. I do wish it had an option for clamping to a dc battery instead of the lighter plug, as that would make it more flexible.
