My first year charcoal grilling and I thought this was a great grill. Small enough to fit nicely on my little deck. Small enough for just my needs, but also was able to grill enough food for a couple of other people. Seems to be quite sturdy and well-designed: I like the venting, the ash collector, the wheels and the top and can hang off the side. Very easy to put together! Don't pay for the service to assemble it. Purchased utensils and a hanger for storing off the side of the grill. Also, purchased the cover that goes with this and it fits perfectly. Quite pleased with the whole thing.
Perfect.

If you need a more advanced grill you probably shouldn't be the grillmaster at your next event. This thing does its job and it works well. It is also very easy to clean. While the metal does come oiled? It's a great grill for the money. You may want to upgrade the size later especially if you have more than 2 people to feed.
Great product.

Great product. This is the second one I've bought. My father used Weber grills , and they are the only brand I will buy. The last one lasted over 15 years. I keep it outside and use it quite often.
This seller was very good, fast shipping, well packaged, and arrived in perfect condition. I hope I live long enough to need to purchase another one in 15-16 years. I'm 61, so I hope I'm still grilling when I'm well into my mid 70's. 😀

Not same quality as original Weber Grill

We went back to a Weber Grill after the gas grill. Our first Weber grill lasted over 18 yrs. They were heavy and durable. Although, this seems fine, Im doubting it will last half as long as the first. The grill itself is light weight and looks cheaply made. It is much smaller than the hooks it rests on so can slide around (any smaller and there would be problems with it falling through). The hole vents are so large bits of charcoal will fall through. With larger air vents, you can get a really hot fire going. It works well, but was expecting more quality in a Weber than a generic grill.
The 18" is by far the best. It just a better grill but you cant ...

First I went to home depot and lowe's in the winter to find this. They did not have them and I ordered from Amazon and got it in two days. I should have done that in the first place.
I have owned and used the 18 and 22 inch webers. The 18" is by far the best. It just a better grill but you cant grill a turkey unless you cut it up. The grill cooks better. Remember to mound the charcoal on one side for searing and use the other for baking. It also uses less charcoal than the 22". If you have big parties buy a second 18". I have two and would not do it any other way. Also gas does not come close, you might as well fix your food on the stove. Once again the 18" weber is the best grill ever made.
