I love my new Pizzelle maker. I have looked for one for a while. It is made well and worth the money. My family loves the fresh cookies and they are easy to make. The batter is easy and uses common ingredients that most kitchens have. The non stick surface is truly non stick. I use a little spray at the beginning, although I don't know if it is necessary. It is not water immersible, but I clean it up with paper towels after using. It's very easy. Unit is small and stores with my pots and pans. It makes three 3"cookies at a time. I have tried several recipes, but the one in the book is just fine. My favorite recipe has some brown sugar and chopped pecans added.
We are a family of 4, and like them fresh so I only use about 1/3 recipe and still have some for lunches the next day. The picure I am looking at makes the top look white - it is stainless.

We make pizzelles every year, and, of course our tried and true pizzelles iron broke, and we needed a new one. Even though it was a little pricier than I would have liked, it was cheaper than many other brands, and it works great. The cookies are on the smaller side, but that's generally how my family makes Christmas cookies (the reasoning being that you can taste each type of cookie without getting full if the cookies are smaller). I think my dad made over 100 pizzelles with this iron!

Only got the pizzell maker. The description stated that a spoon, canoli roller and recipe book was included. Well it wasn't there. Thus was bought as a gift and I just learned that t not everything was included. Very dissapointed

I love making these but it takes a lot of tries to figure out how much batter to put on plate. I found it better to use more than less and just trim the cookies with a sharp knife. But you have to do it while they're hot or they break. My lights that indicate when it is heating and ready are not working right but I use my judgement and it's okay. I have made these for company and added colored nonparelles to the batter. I also have tried different flavors. At the end of the day, it's fun and I'm glad I bought it.

I had never made a Pizzelle before. I received my Chef's Choice and made my first Pizzelles. They turned out perfect and I was so proud! So easy to use but be very careful when latching. The iron is very hot so hold to the cool back part while latching the front. Perfect Pizzelles! I can hardly wait to make more. I will tell you that I had a tub of Coconut Pecan icing and I used it to sandwich my Pizzelles and they were soooo yummy. I bought this one because it does have the ready light and none of the others that I viewed had it. They give you a little plastic spoon but I found that 1/2 of a teaspoon in the center was perfect but even if you go over they come out great and you can just cut around the cookie to make it perfectly round. The design is perfect too. Oh, and it makes 3 cookies instead of 2. I paid for mine and did not get it free for a review so you know I am telling you the truth. I love mine! It cleaned up easily too.
