We really like the cheese slicer. However, it came with two wires for cutting and the first wire just broke. We need to get more replacement wires from somewhere. Can you help us?

The slicer works and looks great ... as long as the wire lasts. I bought this for my wife as a Christmas gift. The first wire lasted about 45 days with about 20 uses before it broke. 2nd wire has less than 10 uses on it. Its easy to use but with this wire issue it remains to be seen if we'll keep it or trash it.

The funcionality of this product has improved compared with a old CILIO cheese cutter I had for quite some time. It was cumbersome to say the least to change the wire and required some tools and time to do it. It finally figured out to twist the wire on one end only, which by the was it was a string guitar d, and the other end I just wrap around the end of the peg. However the finish is still raw in some areas particularly edges of the bended undersides. The rubber feet on the 4 corner immobilize the cutter. Good feature.
