I ordered 50 foot hose and got a 25 foot one, the package said 50 foot hose

I ordered a 50 foot hose and got a 25 foot hose, the package says 50 foot but there is no way this is 50 foot. It is cheaper made that the one I bought that I paid more for. For a replacement they make you responsible to send it back on your own. It would be ok for what I wanted it for but I feel I was charged the price for a 50 foot hose so that is what I should get. No too happy

I had thought the tubing would be a softer silicone that had some strech to it. This is so rigid the length is pointless, you're lucky to stretch it 3 feet beyond it's coiled length. And at that point it's pulling hard on the faucet. As such, it's not usable for what I needed it for. It might make a good option for someone needing a hose RIGHT near the faucet but then again, you could just use a 5' hose and not have a need for one that coils.

HORRIBLE DESIGN. Do not buy this product. Major flaw on this item is where the rubber hose meets the faucet nozzle attachment, the connection just slips on. I didn't even have the water on and the rubber tubing just slipped right off. This happens on both ends of the hose. there is a little silver piece that dose nothing to keep the house on the attachment. I can't tell you if it's truly 50 feet, because each time I tried to uncoil the hose, it fell tight off the nozzle. I even tried to dribble a little water through the hose and it literally sent the hose flying off the spigot, with NO effort at all.

There is a fundamental flaw as all who.use these know and it's annoying constant kinking.It occurs if you are sretching this to.its full length
With that said I.have 3 I use that cover small area and are.never fully stretched , these work fine and have for years.
So if you use it and don't need to fully extended it it is a great but. Even if it lasts 2 years as mine has can you really complain for $8?
If you want a high quality hose for long runs , that is thick and soft and 50 feet + buy a quality hose and pay the price.
For those people who complained, what do you expect when you can buy a 100 foot hose under $10?

UPDATE: THIS was my review about this product when I purchased these hoses in 2013 and again in 2015... each time they lasted 2-3 years, even having been left out in the PA winters.:
** September 10, 2015: "I have purchased other coiled hoses in the past that sprung leaks very quickly. I ended up buying a second one of these because it is so strong and convenient. Anyone who complains about the tangling and takes stars away because of that should not be buying a coiled hose. There are definitely times it get itself tangled up but it is easy to avoid in most situations and easy to untangle if it happens." **
Once my 2015 models reached their end early in 2018, I repurchased on April 20. The hose sprung a random leak the first week of June, right outside of my return widow. Assuming it was a freak occurrence, I ordered another on June 6. Today, July 8, THAT hose sprung a random LARGE hole in the middle of it... luckily on the last day of my return period.
