I used this as an amendment to my wife's flower planting soil. It was combined with worm castings, coco coir, perlite and vermiculite and azomite to make a fertile fluffy mix for vegetables and flowers.

Don't know why but my three Venus fly traps did not do well in this peat moss :( I have grown really nice Venus fly traps before in different peat moss and feel bad that it didn't work out with this one.
Looks good - pH 4.5

Shipped fast, good condition peat. I mixed this in my azalea beds and will use leftovers for a soil mix. But, now that I know it's a non-renewable resource and contributes to greenhouse gasses when extracted, I'll find something else.

Excellent quality Peat Moss

Excellent quality Peat Moss. It is pure, unlike the one by Miracle Grow, which is "enriched" by Miracle Gro! NO THANKS!!! I needed this for my Hydrangea, and a few baby plants that needed their soil loosened and enriched. I used this up already and will be buying again!
