Fantastic for fine cuts of lunch meat, I also use this to take the skin off salmon. The Granton blade is more expensive but definitely worth the money. Really makes slicing feel effortless and the blunt tip prevents stabbing the meat. The handle is very industrial and clean with a rough all around"‹ texture like powder coating matte.

Initially I loved this knife, but after slicing a couple briskets and 8-10 tri-tips this thing was so dull it is incredible. Each of the meats were extremely tender, there is NO reason for a knife to lose an edge like this one did. Ran it through a sharpener and after a couple of briskets it was dull again. This knife was babied - hand washed, edge guard in place when stored and never cut through anything tough. Now it's just giant butter knife. I'll run it through my sharpener before each used and use it until I get something better.

This is the BEST knife for slicing a beef roast into nice thin slices for tender sandwiches. Before roasting, I used it to divide an untrimmed large sirloin tip roast into 3 smaller ones and it went through the meat and connective tissues like they were butter. So glad I read the reviews and chose this one!

Super, Super Sharp!! Perfect for cutting a large roast into steaks. I bought a 13lb Prime Rib Roast and cut it into 17, 1" ribeye steaks and 1 1/2 pound ground steak hamburgers. This savings was more than the cost of this knife and was needed to cut such a large piece of meat. Cuts were even and smooth. It sliced through the meat very easily. This knife has already paid for itself! Amazon's part in this review was easy, quick shipping and excellent packaging. Couldn't be more pleased...
