A must-have / must-use for RVs IN WINTER. The instruction for use guide is easY. I've used it several winters now as low as -14F and I can saY that this manufacturer makes a good product. Electrical tape the heat-tape to the hose without twists. Wrap the hose in 1.5" pipe insulation (or 1.25"), Gorilla tapping (4") each section together, and place a wrap of electrical tape about everY foot. It isn't verY flexible that waY, but it works best with long easY bends fm faucet to RV water in-port. I've used a 25/ hose (taped and insulated in this manner) when the in-port was onlY three feet fm the faucet. I circled the excess hose around the faucet in wide gentle bends and all was well. It will not curl up too well for summer storage this waY. Remove the insulation and toss it. Curl up the heat-tape for next winter. ReadY to do it again next Year. If You know of a better waY, let us all know.

I am very happy I bought the heating cable and installed it on my water pipe in my business property before Christmas
Although we have freezing temperatures inside the building and long holidays when no water was used the water pipe has not froze
I going to buy another one for heating a chemical line that got too cold and blocked
Very happy with this product

Bought two 9 foot cables and neither one worked. Plug lit up, but absolutely no heat produced. Lousy quality control. Going to Home Depot to get the Frost King ones.
Great Product that provides protection and safety.

Well, it's finally cold here in New York. We've even had freezing rain. Why do I mention this? Because the Easy Heat pipe cable is saving me a bundle by keeping my pipes from freezing. I can't even begin to tell you how happy and relieved that makes me especially after having my pipes freeze and crack last winter. The Easy Heat is heavy and the part that covers the heating wire is exceptionally thick giving peace of mind over what flimsy heat tapes provide which also provides a feeling knowing that this heat cable also provides a decent measure of safety as well. I really hope whoever reads this review takes me at my word. This is an excellent product at a fair price. ~D~
