this product does an ok job, better then anything else i tried like vacuuming, etc. if you push hard enough it will get fur out in rolls however it does look like the sponge is breaking off and this is only my first time using it. its basically like a soft, dry sponge.

I had one of these about 15 years ago and it worked really well on removing dog hair from our couch. This one isn't the same. It looks and feels the same but it does not take the hair off of my couch. Perhaps because my couch now is a different fabric (worked on denim but not on chenille). All it does is push the hair around. It took a long time to deliver as well. I was looking forward to finding a solution to my dog's pet hair on the couch. Sadly this is not it.

Works well on flat, tight, smooth fabrics. If there are any "˜wrinkles' such as incured in less tight fabric or in fabric that's gathered to lay flat around a contoured corner product gets hung up and hair piles up at that spot. Also, hair does not just lift off of product. Instructions state "˜simply pick up gather hair'; picking off every hair is time consuming. I ended up using a lint roller.
