I bought this from Amazon. I had it professionally installed. My contractors added a tile slap piece to keep water from ruining the wall. They made a sling type holder for the drain to prevent it from being knocked off. We added a water filter to the water line. It's easy to pull the black step in and out. The tub does drain quickly so I squeegee the water out. Take out the green mat outside and rinse the dog hair off. The drain has two hair traps. So between the green mat and two hair traps you are good. I have three labs and a pug. The hair is soooo bad!! This bathtub is so sturdy. It's so worth having a qualified person install this. I bath my dogs every month.. I think this purchase was worth it all!! Go get it now!!

I have been using this tub for a few months now and I have to say that it was probably the best purchase of 2020. This tub makes life so much easier. As an owner of three boxers, I used to have to carry them individually through the house and up 3 flights of stairs, when they got all muddy. I put this tube on the basement floor, which has direct access to the yard. The dogs come directly in and go straight to the tub on their own. At first they were a little scared of the metal sounds and the height. After about 3 sessions, they now go straight in on their own. They let me know when they want a bath. This tub is great for several reasons: 1. Perfect for big dogs. Provides room to wash them and let them turn around. 2. No water goes out of the tube. The high sides prevent splashing and you can dry the dogs off right in the tub. 3. Easy clean. In fact, no cleanup. You don't have to bleach the tub afterwards. I just pick up the rubber slip mat and spray down whatever dirt or hair is left behind. 4. The hair trap works wonderfully.

I highly recommend this tub for pet owners.

The only downfall on the tub, is the ramp. The ramp is too short for the tub and too steep for the dogs. It's a design flaw that doesn't work for residential settings where the tub must be higher than the drain. I have yet to come up with a good solution for a ramp or stairs, because of space limitations in my house. Working on it though.

Buying process: The tub arrived very quickly and was packaged in a nice wooden crate. There was no damage to the unit, because the seller did this. I put it together fairly easily. I don't like the ramp, because its slippery for my dogs and it slide at the slightest weight.

Seller: The seller is wonderful. I contacted the seller a few times for shipping and product help and they were very responsive. I can tell this seller cares about reputation and product quality.

Instructions: I recommend improving the information contained in the instructions. There are several things left to the installer to guess on.

Height: It sits very low due to the way the base is constructed. Because of this I had to get feet to raise it with. I bought feet for bed posts at lowes to raise it about 6 inches. Works great, but does make the ramp useless.

Size: I think it's very sturdy. I have 3 70lb dogs and they seem to fit in it fine, individually (ofcourse).

Misinformation: I want to dispel some incorrect information that I read in reviews. Some reviews talked about plumbing issues. I believe one review mentioned this was a custom drain. This is incorrect information. You can use a standard p-trap that from Home Depot or Lowes. You need the P-trap extension piece. I used a P-trap that connected to 1 1/2 PVC and it worked great. I cannot speak on rust at this early of a stage, but I make sure to pick up the rubber mat after use. This allows the tub to drain fully, so water is not sitting on it. Also, I have not experienced any leaking. I think comments that mention leaking probably did not setup the tub correctly. The only places that could leak would be at the drain, from the underlying pipe system, or from the incoming water lines. As long as all is connected correctly, then you should be fine.

Overall: We love the tub. Its was an investment well worth the price. I am glad I bought this.

We have 5 large dogs and taking them to the groomer just isn't feasible. At $100 per dog, this wash station would pay for itself in two trips to a groomer for all the dogs. So, we bought this and it turned out to be great. The stainless steel is gorgeous and it only took me a few minutes to assemble it. They even provide a screwdriver with a socket end to reach the recessed nuts to be tightened. The faucet and spray nozzle provides a variable temperature spray and the nozzle focuses the spray in tight enough streams that it is sufficient to power the soap out of our dogs' heavy coats with the system pressure we have in the garage. By the way..., with this thing plumbed in inside the garage, we can wash dogs in a temperature-controlled environment regardless of the outside temperature of the seasons rather than killing our backs or knees in a bathroom tub or freezing the dogs and us to death on the back porch grooming table in the winter or stressing our long-coated dogs in the heat of the summer out on the back porch wash table. The water supply hoses are short enough that I had to go to the big box store to get longer ones. The drain hose is plastic similar to a vacuum cleaner hose but heavier duty. It has a compression twist fit connection to attach it to the stainless steel drain threaded drain connection on the bottom of the sink which with a little finesse sealed tightly and does not leak. We are taller than the average person so we had to place the four legs on pieces of 4x4 to boost the height up a little for the comfort of our backs. We have a grooming table adjacent to the walk-in sliding door of the wash station so that the dogs can walk straight out of the tub and onto their grooming table, all set up with the blow dryer and an adjacent high plastic folding table with all the grooming tools, brushes, ear cleaning materials, etc., all set up. There is a 10-inch tall platform to get them from the floor to the grooming table safely and back off again without stressing their hips or elbows jumping off of or down onto the concrete garage floor and a rug to keep them from slipping and hurting themselves. The seller was fantastic. The backsplash part was damaged in transit and they replaced it for free at their own expense even though the damage to the crate was the shipper's fault. This wash station is an excellent value and I recommend this seller.

I'm a 66 Year Old Female and put this tub together by myself. Very well made and good sturdy stainless steel. It comes with everything"¦.even the tools. You will need a Philips head screw driver and wrench to secure the handle for the hand held sprayer. The faucet and sprayer are well made. I did purchase new water lines since I needed 3/8 & 1/2 connectors. The water valve is 3/8 and the hoses they give are 1/2 inch on each end. Just take notice to that when you install it. They suggest you install the drain before attaching it to the stand. Do it"¦.I didn't and it was a pain tightening it. I ended up tilting the entire tub
to tighten the drain. Good luck with that. I found channel locks that actually had a claw on the ends to help grab the big plastic nut. I was going to buy a better drain but it's oversized and didn't feel like shopping around for one. This one actually is fine for now. I bought a extra drain hose to extend the hose they provided. My basement door is ground level making it very easy to drain outside with the extension. I have two 65 lb Australian Shepherds that will fit perfect with plenty of room to move around. This tub is big enough for a 110 lb German Shepherd also. Even a larger dog will fit in the 50 inch long tub. I did my research and checked so many reviews and Paw Best seems to be the best in the price range. It's packed so well for shipping in a wooden box. The shipping was on time"¦about a week it took from the West Coast California to Long Island NY. I was so pleased with the delivery. You can't go wrong purchasing from Paw Best.

I normally don't write reviews but in this case with the price and other options out there I thought it was necessary. We had been searching for a good quality wash for awhile and were between this and flying Pig. I will say the quality on the PawBest is awesome!

It shipped LTL and the company was great about confirming our address and tracking with LTL carrier was also flawless. Carrier also helped me carry into our garage. Whole thing came crated in wood and was all packed perfectly. Super easy to assemble. Stainless hardware. Quality fittings. Looking forward to many years with this wash. So far used it 2x and works great! Def worth the money and plenty large for 2 dogs if desired.
