Higher quality and stronger than expected. I actually used this to add a "roof" to a dog kennel to prevent one of my dogs from jumping out. She jumped against it a few times and quickly realized there was no more escape. Has held up well.

I bought 2 different brands on Amazon. This one is superior. Nice stretch and a breeze to cover my pond. The competitor was more of a plastic netting and tore with no stretch. So happy with this product.

Been using this to cover my 10'x10'x4' pond since construction. Works so far. I recommend having some sort of support structure under it otherwise it'll touch the water and algae will build up on the netting. Granted that has not damaged the netting at all, its just not aesthetically pleasing.

This netting is flexible, easy to install, and hardly shows once it is on the pond. The net floats just at the surface and looks invisible where it rests on the water. Since taking this photo, the net has relaxed a little, so more of it floats on the water now. We will keep it in place throughout the winter and in the spring when the herons come back. I bought this in October, right after seeing a heron standing beside our small backyard pond, eyeing our goldfish. Haven't lost any fish in the two months since. The net is anchored by the large rocks around the perimeter of the pond. Haven't used the stakes. It is easy to pull back the net to tend to the plants in the pond, then secure it under the rocks again.

This is a very sturdy netting and is made of some plastic material. The diamond-shaped holes open up to about 5/8-inch wide or a bit more. The weave of each individual strand is like a braid- so it is strong. We mounted ours onto a wooden frame canopy to protect our ducks from hawks. This product was as expected and much heavier than the cheapo $6 stuff that can be bought at Lowes or Home Depot. Hopefully, this product will last a few years at least.

This is a follow-up review. It is almost two years later and this netting is holding up very well! No rips or tears at all!
